Application of Novel Quantum Dot Materials in Chip Thermal Management
Rentai Technology Materials Research Center, in collaboration with universities, has made significant progress in the application of quantum dot materials to chip thermal management. The research team has developed a composite heat dissipation material based on graphene quantum dots, with thermal conductivity more than five times higher than that of traditional materials.

This new type of heat dissipation material forms highly efficient thermal conduction channels by directionally growing quantum dots on a graphene substrate. At the same thickness, its heat dissipation performance is 300% better than that of traditional thermal grease, while also possessing good mechanical strength and stability.
The reliability of this material has been verified in small-batch trial production, and it is expected to be applied on a large scale in the next generation of high-performance computing chips. The research team is further optimizing the material formulation, striving to achieve mass production by 2025.
The breakthrough in quantum dot heat dissipation technology will effectively solve the thermal bottleneck of high-performance chips, providing important support for the continuous improvement of chip performance.
