Rentai Technology Achieves Breakthrough in Key Technology R&D for Computing-in-Memory Chips
Rentai Technology's R&D team has achieved a major breakthrough in computing-in-memory chip technology, successfully developing a computing-in-memory chip prototype based on a new type of memristor. This technology can significantly improve AI computing energy efficiency and is particularly well-suited for edge computing and Internet of Things application scenarios.

In traditional computing architectures, data must be frequently transferred between memory and processors, resulting in significant power consumption and latency. Computing-in-memory technology eliminates the overhead of data movement by performing computations directly within the memory, improving energy efficiency by more than ten times.
Rentai Technology's first computing-in-memory chip is manufactured using a 28nm process and performs exceptionally well in image recognition tasks, with power consumption only one-tenth that of traditional architectures. The R&D team is optimizing the design and plans to adopt more advanced process technologies in the next generation of products.
This technological breakthrough will open up new possibilities for deploying AI on terminal devices, enabling complex AI algorithms to run efficiently on power-constrained devices and promoting the widespread application of AI technology.
